We are a small group of jewelry artists and passionate bead collectors with many years of experience both in the bead and finished jewelry businesses as well as efforts to promote interest in beads, their importance to world cultures, and their unique aesthetic beauty.

In 2018, our work at Beadazzled Dupont Circle– a Washington, DC bead store, jewelry boutique, and cultural destination–came to an end when the business was forced to close its doors after nearly 30 years in operation. It was a profound loss for us and for many of our loyal customers.

But our passion for beads will never die. We decided to form KPManning & Friends to re-enter the bead business via pop-up events, bead shows and sales, this website/online store and other opportunities that might arise to serve our customers and to continue doing what we love.

The “friends” in KPManning & Friends includes other jewelry artists in the Washington, DC area who may join us from time to time on this new venture in order to keep our love of beads and jewelry alive and to serve you, our valued customers.
